Reaching Beyond Endurance

Today's highly volatile business environment demands that individuals and organizations perform at higher levels and at greater intelligence than ever before. The recent events in the economy have battered many businesses to the point of extinction. Those surviving the storm require skills to endure, reach beyond and move forward.

Reaching Beyond Endurance is a personally challenging and value changing presentation that will alter your market outlook. With recent events, the realities of your business have changed permanently. You don’t manage change, you manage how you react to it. No matter what you sell, be it a product or a service, the next year is probably the end of the way most of us do business. 72% of America's organizations will have to reinvent the way they do business in the next 2 years!

As a successful speaker and consultant, Jim Mathis, CSP helps you become a  leader in a highly competitive, volatile, global marketplace. Jim's workshop will  help you discover the indisputable truths and realities about your organization that you can't see or solve on your own.

An internationally certified speaking professional (CSP), Jim speaks across numerous industries with clients such as: American Red Cross, United Way, Owens Corning, US Foodservice, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and many more.

Choice in the road

What Next?

For over a generation, the experiences learned in the Great Depression affected how business was conducted.  In the years to come, how will the experiences learned during the “Great Recession” affect the building supply industry?

Occasioned by a desire to remain lean, will retailers lead the charge for innovation?  Or will the building supply industry be more like that of the mid-twentieth century?  Not willing to put all their eggs in one basket, will entrepreneurs eschew investing in one-line specialty supply businesses such as door and truss plants?  How will financing and banking relationships evolve?  On Thursday morning during the Joint Winter Education Conference, a panel consisting of four visionary retailers and ProSales Magazine editor, Craig Webb, will discuss these and other questions.

In addition to the changes brought about by the recession, the panel will explore how the movement towards building “green” will change the construction of homes.  They will cover questions such as will homes be smaller; will mandates for energy savings decrease glazing; and will builders back away from panelization.

This facilitated panel discussion along with questions and comments from the audience will help you to prepare yourself and your company for what is coming down the pike.
