When someone is inured, there is a critical period before professional
help can assist the injured person. This webinar reviews simple procedures which can be applied in an emergency situation.
OSHA

Workplace inspections are performed by OSHA compliance
safety and health officers usually without advance notice. During this webinar, an OSHA inspection procedure will be
discussed including preparing for the inspection with focus on priorities, process, results and follow-up requirements.

will review the various types of personal protection equipment including protection for the head, eyes, ears and feet.

Examine the effectiveness of maintaining a neat and
clean workplace for a safe and professional working environment. Items to be discussed include walkways, stairs and

Review and discuss the four needs of a fire to
burn, the three basic types of fires, operation of a fire extinguisher and emergency action plan.

Discuss the most common causes of electrical injury
including safe use of extension cords, grounding of tools and equipment, and emergency action to take when someone is shocked.
SLIPS,
TRIPS & FALLS Dec. 7th - 8:30 a.m./Dec.
16th - 11:30 a.m.
Discuss that
most slips occur when either an employee’s shoes or walking surface is wet or slippery. Items to be discussed
are wearing proper shoes, use of stairs, carrying loads, and clean up of spills or slippery spots.
